After going to bed so late (for me) I slept really well, and well into the morning.

I did this and that, then settled down to read the Sunday paper.

In the late afternoon I heard mower noises, and it was my neighbor who loves to mow grass, working on some of mine.

Needless to say, we chatted a bunch. She watched various raccoons make their way onto--and off--my front porch.

I filled her in on Daniel's work on the front of the property, and explained who he was and all about his family etc. Since we've been here more than thirty years I can fill in all sorts of bits and pieces about neighborhood history.

Today was a lovely (southern) fall day. I don't think I sweat at all, although I wasn't involved in very strenuous activities.

I made a quick trip to the drugstore to pick up a prescription I'd called in a day or so ago. I stopped at Popeye's on the way home. About half of the order has been consumed--the rest will be for tomorrow.

As I write this, it's not quite 8 PM--and it's quite dark already. I wonder when we turn the clocks back.

And that's for another IUD.
