At the top of the list was the dentist, to get one of the center front teeth (upper) fixed. It had a little chip off the corner.

There was no anesthetic--not needed considering the location. The dentist worked for a while, then handed me the mirror. My front two teeth now match!

My dentst is a major perfectionist in his work on teeth. This is a really big improvement.

While I was waiting for my turn, his wife--who also is the bookkeeper since their kids left the roost--told me she was reading #2 of YD's books--and when was the next one due out. I told her to check with Amazon, searching by author. She is really enthusiastic about the books, and appreciates the accuracy of the fictional locale.

Before I took off on the afternoon errands I made a quick run over to my mechanic. My rear view mirror had fallen off yesterday and I really rely on it. (It's probably illegal to not have one.) He was so nice--he took care of it right away and charged me nothing. I did mention the increased gas consumption, but I suspect a large part of that is because almost all my driving since he worked on the engine has been very local.

And the "good" news--the doctor's office called with the results of the goop test, and they called in a prescription.

The need to stop at the drugstore gave me an excuse to eat at Arby's--and they have something new and VERY yummy--chocolate-filled turnovers.

Not exactly an exciting day today, but highly productive.
