IUD, of course.

In the morning I went to the optometrist at WalMart (I really like her and her staff) and went through the usual stuff.

She told me I have the beginnings of a small cataract in one eye, but otherwise things look fine. (At least she didn't say "for your age.")

I settled for new frames for the regular glasses. They're identical to the old ones. I'm not a creature of habit, but I like the way they look. Because there was relatively little change, I'm not getting new sunglasses.

I wrote a significantly large check (I prefer having checks for income tax) and then did a quick tour around the rest of WalMart for this and that, including a sandwish for lunch.

Home again, ate lunch, then let myself have a sinking spell.

My girl cat is now curled up on the wool stole next to my computer, sleeping happily. I think I want to be an old lady's pet cat in my next life.

Tomorrow I see the P.A. about my head.

I'm not sure that I can handle all this excitement!
