After due consideration...

. . . I decided to go back to sleep. I'd overslept long enough that I would not be able to find a reasonably close parking spot.

So I did. And I didn't come to full awakeness till almost noon.

The cats were a bit annoyed--their "breakfast" goodies were VERY late. But, better late than never, and I was quickly forgiven.

About the middle of the afternoon I remembered that I'd phoned in a prescription renewal late yesterday, and that it was no doubt waiting for me.

And I was hungry and didn't feel like scrounging something at home.

Picked up the prescription, then went next door and got a BK chicken sandwich for lunch. And supper. (The sandwich is quite large.)

When I was on the front porch refilling dry food receptacles a couple of the young raccoons heard the noise and came right up on the porch to "supervise." I pushed the dishes far enough away from me that they wouldn't feel nervous. They have really intelligent-looking faces.

The raccoon feeding got the attention of the cats, so I quickly served up their wet food.

Obviously, my primary function in life is to feed furry little quadrapeds.

Maybe next week I'll feel more organized and get settled into the part-time work routine.

Let's see--Sunday is a home game for the Saints. YD and I are going. And I think the weather will be fine.

What difference does the weather make when the game is indoors?

Well, the route from the parking area to the entrance gates is out in the open.

Definitely another IUD today, but so what.
