Last night the computer started acting up again, with the same set of messages.

I guess it just needed a good night's sleep, because (I say the next with crossed fingers) at the moment it seems to have recovered.

My computer guy would have been really unhappy if I'd had to call him today. He takes a lot of pride in his work.

I have a routine doctor's appointment this morning. He's an associate of the doctor I've gone to since 1976, but I' e never met him. Even though I've told the "regular" one he can't retire till I die, I figured I should get acquainted with at least one of his associates/partners.

I got to know his P.A. with the finger thing, and today I'll meet another associate. It's a routine (clothes on) visit to monitor the BP. If it's higher than makes him happy I can always blame it on the computer.

(You know you're getting old when the "annual" becomes semi-annual.)

It was cold last night, therefore I had a furry black blanket.

I shall cross fingers that my computer continues to behave itself.
