...for the Saints, that is. They lost, after playing rather poorly. The "fire" just wasn't there today.

Two games left--one away, and the other at home.

We'll just have to see what happens.

It will be interesting to listen to the various commentators discuss the game.

After watching the game, I headed out to WalMart for some stuff--most of which seemed to be for the critters.

Tulane is more or less shut down now for the semester break. I really need to use this time to get various stuff done around the house.

(You've heard that before? Well, stuff around the house is never-ending--and it never stays done. That's part of the reason I like the archival work--when it's done, it's done. And it stays done.)

Weather has cooled down a bit, but nowhere near the freezing point--at least in the near future.

And - - - - I still have the gifting problem. There is one advantage to shopping at the last minute--prices are often really cut. And there's less to choose from, which makes deciding somewhat easier.

Nothing much different or unusual on the home front. A little possum heard food noises and was all set to go through the (deliberate) hole in the screen and onto the porch. Then he saw me sitting there, and decided to wait a bit.

Maybe next week will be a bit less unremarkable.
