As I was putting out the dry cat food for the porch raccoons a brownish/gold raccoon came to the entrance.

She(?) didn't seem particularly concerned about me sitting on the porch and came in to eat.

I haven't seen her or her relatives for a while--she must have found another nesting area or something.

When the first brown and gold raccoons appeared a couple of years ago I looked them up and learned that they were the albino form of "regular" raccoons.

The following spring a couple more gold ones appeared, with families, but it's been a while since I've seen any but the standard gray ones.

It will be interesting to see just which mamas come back here with their new families.

That was the highlight of today.

It was a quiet day and I got some "stuff" done, as well as a nice nap. Tomorrow it's definitely back to work. No rain in the forecast (there was a fairly strong possibility today) so it should be clear sailing back and forth. And I'm pretty well caught up on errand stuff after my carless five days.

Just another IUD.
