Today has drifted by, and it is now my usual time for posting--about eight PMish.

It was one of those little bit of everything days--interspersed with a couple of sinking spells.

I decided I'd do Arby's for supper--love those chicken salad sandwiches.

And I got some reading done, as usual.

On the way home from Arby's I stopped at the Walgreen's for some other important stuff, such as band aids and the like.

But the break in the routine came as I headed in to town. At the end of my street there were a bunch of cars etc. with flashing red and blue lights. Strictly speaking, it was not at the end of my street, but about three car lengths over, where the street into town is.

Luckily, I have explored the roads in a subdivision sort of across the street and down a bit, and was able to detour through that and get to where I wanted to go with minimum loss of time.

By the time I'd eaten and stopped at Walgreen's everything was cleared away.

At the moment I don't plan to go in to work tomorrow--I've been in two days this week, and I've got a lot of household stuff that needs to be addressed. It really needs to be done and gotten out of the way, but if I do that more will appear.

And so another uneventful day is almost over.
