I'm not sure I can keep up with all the excitement in my life! (not)

I noticed my blood pressure meds were getting on the low side this morning so I called in renewals to Walgreen's. That telephone renewal is SO handy. And--as long as you have a push-button phone--it's very quick. I gave a pick-up time of four or five hours later, and when I went through the drive-up my pills were waiting for me. My credit card has my picture on it, so there's no addditional ID required.

This coming week I MUST do some trimming of the various green/flowering shrubs. They will grow better next year if I do. And some weed-pulling is needed.

If I sit while I do this my hip gives me minimal problems. Whatever works.

I was trying to tidy up the couch a bit--it is sort of the default bookholder--and started reading Diana's 3rd Demon book. I've had it for a while, but it's been hiding.

I also need to pack up already-read mind candy books to take to the used book store. The owner is really nice and at least the books will go where they are wanted. (I think she gives a book for each two brought in, so it can keep the cost of books down.)

CC has found yet another prime kitty spot outside--on top of a tree stump. The tree came down quite a while ago, so it no longer oozes pitch. From it she can watch all sorts of things.

Would it surprise you to hear we have almost no birds running around the yard? There are plenty around, but with loose cats in at least two houses the birds wisely go elsewhere for nesting etc.

So, another incredibly unremarkable day is nearing a close.

I think tomorrow will be about the same, weatherwise. Hooray!.
