My Incredibly Unremarkable Life
A Journal (more or less)

No fooling--it's April already?

And once again, an IUD.

I got some tidying done, after sleeping till almost 9 AM today! How quickly I become a slug-a-bed!

Of course, having a large, extremely friendly black cat stretched out on top of you does help the sandman give you a good night's sleep.

And the day was a usual one, with this-and-that at the top of the to-do list.

In the late afternoon I went out for some errands--and Arby's. Arby's has a new little tartlet that is EXTREMELY tasty. They're miniature fruit tarts and are something like 3/$1. Just the right amount to polish off a meal, without leaving you sugar-stuffed.

I started a new book today--this one is also about climate and its effects on civilization development. At the moment I'm blanking on the author--which is bad because I've read several of his other writings. And his name was enough to have me hauling out the plastic to pay for the book.

My azaleas are about bloomed out and the blossoms are starting to drop. In my copious free time (family expression) I should toss some azalea food at them, to keep them growing and blooming. And weed around the bases of the various plants.

So much to do. Wish the energy was there like it used to be.

But with the car in its current condition (the attack of the rabid trash can) I am trying to keep the driving to a minimum--and ready just in case I get stopped for no right side mirror.

Well, it makes the current life not quite as predictable as my usual IUDs.

Weather is really lovely--cool in the evening (I think I've had the furnace on only about once in the last few weeks) and borderline "no sweater/jacket" during the day. My toes are quite comfortable without socks or whatever on them.

And that's about all I can squeeze out of an IUD.
