I really like having a cat who worships me, and wants to be very close. He's a very effective blanket at night.

BUT--his tail is a lethal weapon when it is near the computer. He just deleted a couple of paragraphs.

I was talking about my trip to the garden section of WalMart this afternoon. I found the gardening gloves I needed, but didn't spot much in the way of bushlets.

I'd like to get a couple more azaleas for myself, and that means getting a couple for my lovely neighbors--who will insist on doing the digging for mine.

This is somewhat selfish on my part--they plant theirs on the side of their yard that abuts mine.

Guess tomorrow I'll check out a couple more places.

We are now in the fabulous weather portion of the southern Louisiana year. Humidity is still low, and temperatures are warming up a bit. About another week and I'll shut off the furnace pilot. If I leave it on the circulation fan will kick on when the firebox heats up enough from the combination of the pilot and the ambient temperature.

I just looked at the time--where has the evening gone? And a couple of yawns tell me that my body is just about ready for its regular serious "sinking spell."
