Carwise, that is.

Once I had my car back--there was no ransom to be paid since the faulty alternator that had replaced another faulty alternator was already paid for--I headed for WalMart to get silly things like critter food for the various critters and some people food for me.

I'm going to play it safe and not go in to New Orleans tomorrow. I want to be sure everything's working okay. I'm pretty sure it is--I am fairly confident about my mechanic's abilities.

I chatted with the mechanic a bit, and told him that if his teenage son was bugging him, I could find plenty of yard work around to wear him out. (They live within bicycle distance.)

I hope the kid bugs his dad.

(And if any teenagers are reading this, they are finding out just how devious parents and other adults can be.)

Other than that--nothing much.

It's been a hot day, but it's June. The same will hold for July, August, and the beginning of September.
