. . . rain cools things down, although it definitely raises the humidity.

Today wasn't disgustingly hot--plenty of clouds. And it's those clouds which are now lowering the temperature. A bit.

I hope it clears up by morning--I do enjoy going in to work, but I'm not going if it is raining--or about to.

I don't feel like I did much of anything today, but the financial stuff is now up to date and the checkbook balanced.

The assorted critters have all been fed. The only feeding "task" remaining is the evening cookie toss. (That's a couple of handfuls of generic dog biscuits onto the patio under the awning.)

I had a bad moment this afternoon when I went to pay for some stuff at Walgreen's. My regular credit card was not where I expected it to be. So I dug out another one.

When I got home I found it on the couch. I guess I had put it in my pocket at the store yesterday and forgotten to put it back in my wallet when I got home. Crisis averted. Evidently the card had crept out of my pocket.

At least the clouds and rain came today before it got really beastly hot. It should be good sleeping tonight, although I seldom have problems on that score unless my body has had more than one "sinking spell" during the day.

So--another IUD.
