In the 90s. At least it's the low 90s and--being in the soggy south--one can always hope for a bit of rain, even though the cloud patterns say no.

And I guess the stock markets were hot too, judging by the news reports.

The people who handle my investments sent out letters explaining what was happening and why--and what approach they would be taking.

I have great faith in my investment manager--she's done very well in the past, and I have absolute confidence she will weather this storm as profitably as possible.

(And I've told her that.)

I found a home for the tickets to the first pre-season game this Friday--my mechanic. He was quite pleased at the offer. I asked if he would be taking his son and he said nope--his wife.

He's done really well by me with the car repairs, and even though it's just the first pre-season game it's still special.

I'll probably stay home again tomorrow--lots of little stuff to do--and when I'm out I'll drop off the tickets.

Then I'll put in my "usual" two days on Thursday and Friday.

First thing tomorrow I need to go to WalMart. Just when I think I've got a nice critter food reserve on hand I discover that I am out of cat treats!

I tried putting down regular dry food where I usually put the Pounce, and they were fully aware of the difference. You know the "offering" is unsatisfactory when the cat glares at you and then tries to bury it.

And so today lives up to the journal title--incredibly unremarkable.
