Yes, hot again.

I'm almost to the point of sleeping in the computer room--it has a window AC.

But so far the den with the fan on has been quite satisfactory.

Today was another this and that day.

I dropped off the Saints tickets at my mechanic, then headed out to WalMart for cat and critter food. And a couple of things for me.

The rest of the day just sort of drifted by with this and that--and a bit of an afternoon nap.

I haven't decided whether or not to go in to work tomorrow. They, of course, have AC. The flip side is that it's about 35 miles each way, in commuting traffic times.

(If I go in after "commuting time" I probably won't find a parking spot within my comfortable walking distance. And the current heat is another factor, not to mention the knees and hips.)

However, it's cooling down nicely as the evening progresse, and I don't foresee sleeping problems.

Looks like it won't be quite as hot a time in the old town tonight.
