For starters--temperature.

The average daily temperature has dropped by more than ten degrees.

I AM NOT COMPLAINING.

Once Lee finally left the area, gorgeous low-humidity air moved in.

I was very glad that a giant cat wanted to cuddle last night.

And I doubt very much that we'll be having temps in the 90s again until next summer.

It feels strange to be sitting here, without the AC or fan on, and not sweating.

Other than that, it's been an IUD.

I've been hearing rubbing noises from outside the back bedroom where I have the computer. Today I finally went to investigate and it's only a small branch. Tomorrow I'll trim it--and others nearby--back. And I'll trim some other stuff.

It is so much easier to gather up energy for yard stuff when you are not drowning in your own sweat.

The cats seem to be enjoying the less hot weather. My big cat (Spots) has found that the lid on the older (plastic) trash can will go concave when he curls up on it. That gives him a high place from which to guard the territory--and it's cozy.

Tonight should be another good sleeping night. I'm mentally planning to go in to work on Thursday, so tomorrow I need to get ahead a bit on household stuff. (And maybe trim back that branch.)
