But barely. They were trailing Houston (the Texans--not the Oilers) most of the game, but in the last quarter they (Saints) came alive.

The game ended just about when the masked ones were assembling for supper.

And one of them was an albino raccoon! I've seen this one (or a relative) in the past. The light part of the fur is a lovely golden brown, and the stripes are chocolate brown.

I do believe that we are moving into a new critter season. The young ones are exploring new places--and new sources of food.

I stayed home from church today--too much little stuff needing doing. And then there was the game. After all-- if you're home rooting for saints isn't that a churchy thing?

I think I'll wait till Tuesday to go in to work--weather is supposed to stay fairly good, and I need to make some phone calls and a dr. appointment tomorrow.

With crossed fingers I will say that the beastly hot weather of the last couple of months seems to have left us. I'm using a light cover at night. And the cats are starting to get cuddly when I'm on the couch.

Other than the albino raccoon, an IUD.
