Yet another incredibly unremarkable day.

Weather was gorgeous, although when I first got up I was giving thought to lighting the furnace pilot. But by the time I was in the mood to do that it had warmed up enough that I could easily talk myself out of it for yet another day.

And--judging by the weather forecast--I may be able to go another week.

I didn't really get much of anything done today that could be considered "accomplishments."

So far, I haven't seen the raccoons today. It's later in the season than usual for them to start hunting for their own territories. I'll keep tossing out the raccoon biscuits at night, however. And look forward to seeing the new generation next spring.

I realized today (when I looked at the calendar) that YD has a birthday coming up next week (10/20). She was born the year I turned 30. (And as far as I know, she's not particularly "touchy" about what the calendar says.)

I have a routine dr. appt. day after tomorrow at 9. One nice thing about that appointment time--he probably won't be backed up an hour then! I need to start making my list of things to ask/talk about.

As I said at the beginning--it's been an IUD. I think the only human I've spoken to was the guy at the drive-up window at Arby's when I got some lunch to take home.

Tomorrow will be different--I plan on going to church, and there's lots of socializing afterward.
