Another one what?

Okay--all together now regular readers: "Another IUD."

And what was my "outing" of the day?

WalMart, of course.

The high point of the day was a delightful sinking spell after I got home from WalMart.

Very refreshing. (And a good excuse for doing nothing about the leaves in the yard.)

I'm not in the habit of raking leaves--left to themselves they enrich the soil.

They used to get raked, even after my husband passed, but there were teen-aged kids in the neighborhood always anxious to make a few bucks.

Most of those kids are no longer around--they've got kids of their own.

Time does fly.

Tomorrow's plans? Back to the Women's Center.

This afternoon I talked with someone from GOSH--Guardians Of Slidell History--about the possibility of presenting a program about How to Save Family History. After all, I do a lot of that at work, and I'll pass along plenty of hints and tips about preserving the materials.

The guy I talked to is an old friend from pre-Katrina days. He was the local Red Cross head, and since I was a Red Cross Instructor in swimming, first aid, and CPR, I got to know him pretty well. He liked my ideas and so I'll be doing a program on Preserving Personal Papers (or something similar) in the spring.

The extensive conversation this afternoon definitely took today out of the IUD category.
