My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

This one will barely squeak in for 12/22.

???

Well, there I was watching the usual evening TV. And then I woke up to the Tonight Show (or whatever it is called).

Obviously, I'd been watching TV from behind closed eyelids.

The cats are a bit confused, but my dozing means they get some late evening petting and attention.

First thing this morning I called the dr. to cancel the appointment I had noted in my little calendar.

My mind was still thinking "tomorrow" but when I called it was "today."

They didn't mind at all that I'd missed it--in fact they hadn't even noticed. I'm sure they were glad to have one less crowded in.

I must have made the appointment six months ago at a "regular" visit.

Oh well.

It's definitely time now to get some serious sleep in.
