My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Relatively early, that is.

I've got a semi-appointment to donate platelets tomorrow morning. Nothing like helping the blood bank stock up for New Year's Eve idiots.

And I got two books for Christmas, so I'll have something to fill in the time it takes for the donation.

At the rate my blood flows, it's a bit over an hour for the blood to leave my arm, go through the procesor, then come back into my body minus the platelets.

I have learned to restrict fluids before I settle down to that hour of blood processing.

Today was another day of this and that--definitely a 10 on the IUD scale.

As it gets somewhat cooler my girl cat is making herself a cozy "nest" with the down sleeping bag. She doesn't tear it or anything--just gets it arranged and shaped to fit her dimensions.

The big guy tends to use my body as his personal heating pad. That's fine with me--a cat's body temperature is about two degrees higher than that of a human.

Yet another IUD almost over.
