My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

My big "event" of the day was to get both trash barrels up front for the Friday pickup.

It's quite a while since I've had more than one a week. I guess things eventually catch up.

In the afternoon I made a quick trip to WalMart. Foodwise, I'm now in great shape.

The coming weekend will be filled (TV-wise) with football--mostly collegiate.

The city is filling up with all sorts of fans--most of whom are happily spending money.

The police will be collecting a lot of overtime.

New Orleans is used to Big Deals, and knows how to prepare for huge crowds. The local constabulary will have nice big paychecks after this coming week.

I'll be gald when things get back to (more or less) normal.
