A Journal (more or less)

No Conversations

I just realized that it's been a couple of days since I had an opportunity for a genuine conversation--or even a bit of f2f chit-chat--with a human. I'm becoming a hermit!

(The cats don't count as conversationalists--we haven't yet settled on a common language.)

The weather stayed dry at least--and I think it's supposed to continue that way for the next few days.

The cats seem to be enjoying the weather, and why not? They have a warm place (and food) waiting inside.

The number of raccoons has gone down a bit. but they are still waiting in the late evening for their raccoon biscuits to be tossed out for them. It is quite a while since I've seen any possums.

My current plan is to get to bed (relatively) early in hopes of a really good night's sleep. And that should then be followed by waking up full of energy and anxious to catch up on all the stupid household stuff that needs doing!

The chances of that happening? Between slim and none.

"See you" tomorrow.
