IUD, Ho-Hum, nothin' much

Does that express the level of excitement today had?

Weather was decent (i.e. non-rainy) although it was just a shade on the cool side. But it IS January, after all.

My major accomplishment today was a lovely hour-plus sinking spell in the mid-afternoon.

My human interactions (so far) consist of ordering take-out at the Arby's drive thru and . . . I guess that was it. Not even a wrong number on the phone.

Although they weren't waiting by the entrance to the porch, I put raccoon kibble out on the porch. A quick glance a few minutes ago showed that it had been found and consumed.

This evening I plan to get a bit more done on typing up inventory lists of stuff I've processed. I really need to get that sutff done this week.

There's plenty more waiting.

The rainy weather and/or forecasts have been keeping me home more than I want, but rain makes the sidewalks at Tulane somewhat on the slippery side. I'm not nearly as concerned about a possible foot slippage as I am about the cane slipping on a wet spot on the somewhat slippery sidewalk and throwing me off balance.

So I use the time at home to type up inventories etc. on my own computer. Then I e-mail them to the archivist.

A glance at the TV schedule for this evening suggests that I may do a fair amount of typing.

As I said at the start--another IUD.
