I had the car back by early afternoon, and at what I consider a reasonable cost. It's running happily again.

Apparently it was nothing drastic--just a bunch of little stuff. (Hence, the low repair charge.)

Just after supper my neighbor came over to play with the kitchen over-sink light. He wiggled and jiggled various wires and now it's working fine again.

I guess this was the first time he'd been inside, and he meandered around to see just how it was set up. A little less than 1100 square feet and there's a big living room, a nice den, a dining room, three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bath and a half. He seemed to be moderately impressed by the design efficiency.

This has been one of those "this and that" days--with all sorts of little stuff that needed doing.

I should really go in to New Orleans tomorrow, but I want to finish up some of the typing for that first. Guess I'll set Monday as a return goal.

Anyway, I think I heard the four-letter word starting with R in the weather forecast. That probably means that I won't have an excuse for avoiding the six-letter word that starts with v.

Time now for me to start to unwind and get set for a good night's sleep.
