Once again, Journalscape is having conniptions about passwords.

For years there was no problem--I had chosen a password that was easy for me to remember, and I wasn't always getting messages about it.

Guess some people were having problems so they had to tighten up their system.

They said I could change the one they just gave me, if I wanted to.

I tried that a couple of time and they have a very short memory.

So I'll stay with the nonsense syllables.

Today was just another IUD. It rained in the afternoon. I was making a quick run to WalMart, and when I was ready to leave it was beginning to rain. The back of my shirt got a bit wet, but when you live in a subtropical climate that is almost the norm.

The rain forecast (it was really nasty in the morning) led me to cancel a dentist appointment, but that was no big deal. I've been going to that dentist since he opened his practice, just a bit after we moved back here around '76.

By mid afternoon the rain had pretty much let up and I made the quick trip to the store.

It was raining a bit harder by the time I got home, and my shirt got a bit wet as I dashed from the car to the house. It wasn't enough to bother changing the shirt, so I am now nice and cool.

The NFL came down like two tons of bricks on the Saints for the "bonus" awards for hits. (If you follow the NFL you know what I'm talking about. If you don't know--or care--skip this part.)

I think said "bonuses" are unsportsmanlike and undignified for so-called professional athletes.

BUT--I certainly hope that their "investigation" includes ALL teams, because this practice should be beneath the dignity of so-called professional athletes.

Enough of that.

And--since the rain brought about an IUD, that's it for today.
