Ordinary Day

But not totally ordinary.

A young friend (YD's age) stopped by. He had sad news--his father had just passed.

I don't think I ever met his father, although his mother and I were friends via girl scouts.

We chatted a bit and then he went on. Once you hit your forties you become increasingly likely to have parents pass.


I managed to get a refreshing nap in, but mostly I just did this and that.

I'm debating going in to New Orleans tomorrow to get some more done on those inventories, then take home the rough drafts to type up properly.

(Whether I do that or not will probably depend on when my body decides to wake up.)

AS I said, it was a (relatively) dull day, so that will be it for now.
