Just another day around here. Weather pleasant, cats and critters content to more or less hang around--especially in the late afternoon. (I wonder why? Maybe because I put food out about then?)

Mostly I just did little stuff, including minor errands.

And the evening has had the TV on in the background.

I keep losing track of what day it is--a problem that comes from not having made it in to work on my usual "regular" days.

Next week should be more orderly, and I'll make sure it is.

I also need to get started on another book. I like to have a book to pick up to read at odd moments.

I can't recall having a conversation with anyone today. The cats don't count--we don't speak each others' language.

Tomorrow is church and the speaker sounds quite interesting. And there's always the after-service coffee and conversation.

It's definitely warming up here. My bedtime "cover" is no longer a blanket or afghan, but a giant beach towel. And I may leave the fan on tonight.

Summer is definitely "a-comin' in." I can't remember the name of the poem, or the poet. I think we had to memorize it way back in high school, and it stuck. The next line is something like . . . "loudly sing cuckoo." You can imagine the student method of delivering those lines.

'Nuff for now--time for sleeping.
