I put my cell phone on the passenger seat, so it would be handy if it rang while I was driving.

Only problem was that it immediately slid off and headed for the floor.

Well, that's one way to dejunk (or rearrange junk) in the front seat.

I must have spent ten minutes looking here there and everywhere for the phone that had slid off the seat.

On about my third or fourth round of hunting it appeared.

The most frustrating part of the whole thing was KNOWING that it had to be in the car.

When it finally appeared I put it back in my purse and finally headed for home.

The road I usually take was in almost total gridlock, so I turned around and headed for the interstate.

Well, the interstate was barreling along at a brisk 20-30mph. Lots of trucks, of course.

Eventually I got to the exit I wanted, and got back into somewhat more normal traffic patterns.

(Make mental note in solid caps: DO NOT GO ON I-12 ON WEEKEND LATE AFTERNOONS!!!)

Why had I gone to the mall area? I needed something relatively minor from WalMart.

The traffic in the area was mind-boggling. It was probably heavier than Christmas Eve. (And I have no intention of checking that out come December!)

At any rate, I finally got back home.

Other than the traffic, it was pretty much of an IUD.

And I need to have a "discussion" with my cell phone about jumping off the front seat of the car, then hiding under said seat.
