I'm not referring to the light and dark, but to the available hours and minutes.

It seems like evening arrives before I even get to thinking about the things I'd planned yesterday to do today.

Today wasn't really one of those days, because I was careful not to think about any vast plans made yesterday. (As they say, don't make vast plans with half-vast ideas.)

I guess I was successful--at least to a point.

Tomorrow I'll probably remember the things that yesterday I intended to do today.

I did make a relatively brief trip to the big W. Critter food is the driving force there.

They also have tasty ready-made salads at a very reasonable price.

I was a bit late this afternoon with the critter food. I'm used to the cats looking at me with an "I'm starving" expression on their faces.

But when the raccoons do it--it's hard to resist. Their markings give them very expressive faces. And the ones that come here have very good manners. They also keep a respectful distance and wait their turn.

I make sure their food is about three feet away from me so they don't get too used to humans.

These are probably at least fourth or fifth generation critter visitors.

As you can tell, it was definitely an IUD. At least it didn't rain, although rain will be more welcome in about a month for its cooling capabilities.
