At least the skies stayed dry around here.

So far. One can never be too sure about evenings and nights.

In the early afternoon I headed out to the big W and, as usual, found no motorized carts available.

Eventually I saw one heading for the parking area near where I was parked. I got out there in time to get dibs on it.

And then I got some shopping done.

When I finally headed back to the car someone spotted me and was waiting anxiously to snag the cart.

Just another one of those "games," although I'm sure I'm not the only person who would rather see more carts.

When I went to check out I ended up behind a guy with two or three (I don't recall which) regular carts overflowing with merchandise. He shelled out well over $200--and there weren't any big items there--just a LOT of groceries.

I hope that wasn't a week's worth.

As usual, my cats have been leading massively active lives.

They find nice cool places to settle outside for most of the day, and then stay there till their dinners are served.

In my next life I want to be a pampered house cat--with outside privileges.

Enough for now.
