I just discovered that my freezer has died. (The freezer lives/lived in the garage.)

No big deal regarding food--its contents consist primarily of bottles of no longer frozen water (and a bunch of cold air).

Bottles of frozen water are quite handy when working outside, and in case (for some unknown reason) the water system has a problem.

I'll give the problem (if it is one) some thought as to whether I should replace it with a zmaller one. And I'll check in the full light of day to be sure it died, and didn't just have the plug loosen part way out of the socket.

At least it isn't an immediate crisis. In fact, on a crisis scale of one to fifty, I'd probably rate it about a 49.

Only problem is that I'm not in the mood to think about the problem.
