Hee hee hee.

This morning I got e-mail from Andy Cox at The Third Alternative (otherwise known as my favorite fiction magazine) saying he wants to buy my Rio Hondo story "Terrible Ones."

I mailed the story -- to the UK! -- on Monday, and got the acceptance Friday morning. Pretty fabulous turnaround time! The piece should be in issue #37. I can't wait to see what they do with illustration and layout. It's a dark story, very well-suited to the look of TTA, I think.

This has been a fabulous couple of days. I'm basically floating. Heather says I'm not allowed to bitch about anything or complain for the next several weeks. I guess that's fair.
