Hell week is over! The thrice-damned November issue of A Certain Magazine has been put to bed! It went off to the printer this afternoon!

It's not an evil issue. It's a good issue. It's just big. It's a lot of work. Lots and lots of photos, lots of photo spreads, the always-tricky international coverage, very little time to get any of the necessary writing done. We've been going full-tilt for the past week, trying to hit our deadline. I worked a ten-and-a-half hour day yesterday. But today, around 4:00 p.m., we got it done. I'm so glad to see the back of this one. It was crushing me. But it will be pretty when it comes out, with lots of Worldcon coverage.

Tomorrow's my once-fortnightly day off. My plans: print out Rangergirl, take it to Au Coquelet, and read it in its entirety. I haven't read the book in at least a year, and since I'm going to be revising it soon, it makes sense to refamiliarize myself. Then, in the afternoon, I'll pick up copies of Flytrap 3. (I'm praying it turned out okay, that there are no pages upside down or low-res images or other printer's errors.) Then I'll read or do housework or something. Maybe answer some e-mail, maybe read some slush. Sounds like a plan, yes?
