d.g.k. goldberg is dead. I didn't know her well, but we had mutual friends, and we corresponded for a while a couple of years ago, after I reviewed one of her books. I wish I'd kept in better touch with her now. She was funny, smart, and a good, weird, interesting writer.

Now I have to write her obituary for my day job. I've never had to do an obituary for someone I've chatted and cracked jokes with. Sux.
