Cheryl blogged the Hugo winners, so I watched 'em as they appeared, hitting "refresh" every few minutes. Flytrap contributor Elizabeth Bear got the Campbell! Our Hero Kelly Link won for best novelette! Whoo!

A Certain Magazine lost best semi-prozine to Ansible, which is sad, but not surprising, with the UK home-field advantage.

Actually, stuff I like won in every fiction category except short story (which wasn't a very strong category this year anyway).

As always, I'll be interested to see the complete Hugo voting numbers. Especially curious to see how close a race the Campbell was.

In about an hour we're heading over to Susan and Matt's for a stateside Hugo loser's party, to mourn the loss of Strange Horizons in the best website category and the loss of A Certain Magazine in best semi-prozine. Cheeseburgers and margariatas make mourning much more pleasant.

Congrats to all the winners!
