What a nice morning! (Well, Heather's sick with a nasty throat-destroying cold, and we ran out of coffee, and I cut myself shaving, so some things weren't so nice.) Such wonderful things to read!

Matt Cheney's latest column at Strange Horizons is my favorite one yet, as much for the way it's done as for what it says. What a prettily structured piece of writing!

Haddayr Copley-Woods has published another wonderful story: "The Desires of Houses". I love those last lines. In the space of just a few thousand words of published fiction, Haddayr has become one of my favorite writers.

The winter issue of the Journal of Mythic Arts from the Endicott Studio is online now. It includes my story "Jubilee" and fulfills my dream of having a John Jude Palencar illustration (even if it is a reprint!). Also? Drawings of exotic fish to mark the scene breaks. What could be better? I haven't had a chance to read the other stuff at the site yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
