So in college I went out with feyrieprincess for a couple of (very interesting) years. She's been an on-again-off-again (mostly off) livejournaller for a while, but she's been posting up a storm recently. Her latest entry is fascinating, describing the ongoing voodoo war at her workplace, where she's a secretary in a factory.

Basically, the kind of weird contemporary fantasy stuff I write about? That kind of stuff happens to her. It happens all the time. You might think she's embellishing or fictionalizing a bit, but I really doubt it. She often has these moments of bizarre synchronicity, experiences weird coincidences and extreme altercations, and she always just rolls with it. I admire her a lot for that. I hope her war runs cold soon.
