Everybody loves a good morning. I got the good Polyphony news, mentioned in the last entry. I also got a PDF of the interior layout of my long-awaited poetry collection, If There Were Wolves, which I am reliably informed will be available at Worldcon (from the good people at Prime/Aegis). I bought groceries. I fixed our broken-ass sink (faucet handle came off yesterday, so I went to the hardware store this morning and got a new one. Seems to work). Good morning.

I meant to mention, a few days ago I got my copies of the new edition of my first collection, Little Gods. It's so pretty. You can now buy it on Amazon for less than $10 (as opposed to the old $17.95 trade paperback price). It should also be available in actual bookstores! This new edition has a smaller trim size, a redesigned (and really lovely) interior layout, and, uh, no poems. The poems were dropped, which makes sense, given that the same publisher is bringing out a collection of my poems soon. Anyway, it's cool. If you thought $17.95 was too much to pay for a paperback, now's your chance to get it more affordably. So go!

It's my once-fortnightly day off. I'm supposed to accomplish the following: Fix the sink. (Check.) Buy groceries. (Done.) Wash dishes. (Pending.) Finish my ongoing Marla story. (Erg. That means I should figure out a plot. And a resolution for that plot. Hmm.) And that's pretty much it. A rather light workload, as these things go.
