I am thankful that my baby incredibly, unprecedentedly, slept until 8 a.m. today, so I was actually awake before him, and will have enough energy to enjoy the day, at least until food coma sets in.

I'm grateful for having a beautiful, healthy son, and a wonderful, loving wife. (Who is also healthy and beautiful. For that matter, my son is also wonderful and loving.) I'm grateful for all my friends and family, most of whom are sadly far away from me today.

I'm thankful for having a life that revolves around love and art, which is all I ever dreamed of having.
