So that other post was so long, I decided to post this seperately.  Here are the things I accomplished this week:
Backed up my verbal support for independent radio by becoming a member of my favorite NY (heck, my fav US) radio station WFUV - Fordham University Radio

Did laundry.

Got the exact same correction from Lucy, my thesis advisor, and Joan, my workshop professor, on two different pieces.  Apparently I am now finally overwriting like they always tell us we're supposed to in first draft.  The only problem is, now I have to learn how to revise by cutting instead of by adding.

Went into the city with Shasta and another workshop buddy, Wendy, to see Joan read (with Charles Baxter) at NYU.  AND, got a pastrami sandwich -- my first official NYC deli pastrami sandwich, amazingly enough.

Reviewed the spring workshop list and discovered that only one of the teachers I really wanted to take is teaching next semester.  And his class is at 9 in the morning.

Survived my first Manhattan driving experience -- although it was just for a little bit on FDR drive and the weird little detour to get to the upper deck of the Queensboro bridge (also known as the 59th street bridge).  But I did get all the way to my friend Jake's Queens apartment without getting lost, and added a new bridge and two more boroughs to my driving repetoire (technically, I have driven in Queens before, but only to LaGuardia).
