So, it turns out it's not always a good idea to follow through on ideas you think of while waiting for your downstairs neighbors to turn the TV off already so you can go to sleep. I choose to blame it on a combination of sleep deprivation, a hormone surge, and that first scene on Alias this week -- which has to be the most disturbing gross-out death on network television ever. And we are living in the CSI era, people, so that's saying something. Anyway, the Dick and Jane experiment has been removed, so feel free to erase it from your memories as well. From now on I will refrain from trying to impose any method on my madness.

Stumbled onto a Tulsa Drillers blog[link disabled] this morning, and it made me happy. I feel completely disconnected from the Drillers now that they are a Rockies franchise (as opposed to when they were a Rangers affiliate and you could watch the players progress to AAA Oklahoma City and then to Texas), so maybe I will learn to love them (or at least sort of care whether or not they win) all over again.

OK, I am going to do something tomorrow that pretty much surpasses all levels of geekiness heretofore expressed on this blog. But I think I'll wait and tell you about it tomorrow after I 1)have pictures 2)know whether or not the entire thing was a big waste of time 3)find out whether I'm really going to be on TV or not. You're curious now, aren't you?

Yeah, this is much better than the Dick and Jane thing. I really don't know what I was thinking.
