Reading: ZEN AND THE ART OF WRITING
Music: Pogue's "Red Roses For Me"
Link o' the Day: General Protection Fault

An early, short entry today, and will likely miss tomorrow's post. Pretty Maggie is about an hour-and-a-half away and my weekend will be spent mostly offline.

But before I sign off 'til Sunday--a skeleton walks into a bar and orders a beer and a mop.

*rimshot*

I'm told that this was once referred to "as that joke Damon [Knight]'s been telling" sometime during the 50s. I don't think the joke started with him, but he's the one blamed for it being told in SF circles.

A quick link of the day-- the webcomic General Protection Fault. It's geek humor for the most part, and it looks like the current story arc is a Matrix takeoff. Enjoy.

Cheers!
