Well, pooper is home! Yep, the gods were on our side and Pretty Maggie went and picked up the little black puffball this afternoon and surprised me with him as she picked me up from work. At the present moment, it has taken refuge under some bookshelves where he is inconveniently out of reach. But the three of us spent his first few hours in his new home bonding. He seems to like Pretty Maggie--me, he's not so sure of. Possibly because my first words to him were "I'm the alpha male around here. You will behave or you will be eaten." If this is why it's hiding under the bookshelves, then I publicly apologize to the feline and if he misbehaves I will most certainly not eat him.

Okay, thanks to Pretty Maggie's patience and presence, he's out from under the bookshelves, but now that she has gone out to explore Providence on her own, the furball is hiding under the Tables of Chaos (where the Boxes of Bounty from the move make iot very hard to find the little beast).

We named the little feller Nemo. I think he's going to take a bunch of my old computer equipment and fashion himself a submarine. He does have that certain "mad genius" look about him. I imagine that if James Mason (who played Captain Nemo in the Disney version of "20,000 Leagues...") were a kitten, our Nemo wouldn't be too far off. They seem to also share their love for fearless exploring. Maybe he'll take care of the giant squid living in the Spare Room of Pain.

I'm pleased to say that the hassles w/ the Bulletin layout have been cleared up and it will likely be at the printers any day now. We're still on schedule oddly enough. A few other projects to work on tonight. My headcold is still making me a bit fuzzy and washed out. Heading to bed very shortly and Nemo will have to come out soon.

Today's link is another webcomic--Angst Technology. Webmonkeys. IT Ninja. Coffee addicts. Gamers. Llamas. Life inside a game company. Read! Go on, read! Webmonkeys!

Cheers!
