I just mailed off a story to the Writers of the Future contest while I still qualify. (They don't count professional sales until _after_ they've appeared in print. Mine won't until at least September.)

Anyone have any experience w/ this contest?

A quickie link to go witha quickie morning post: MacHall - the Wal*Mart strip. One of my favorite webcomics, and one of my favorite strips of theirs. I was reminded of it earlier today by someone's post on a mailing list.
