TV/Movie: The Making of Amadeus
Link o' the Day: The Mozart Project

Why the heck is particle board so heavy??

Okay, I know why. All those wood chips and shavings pressed into resin make it dense, and I'm sure it's why it's so sturdy for furniture... but yeesh! Carrying this stuff can be hazardous to one's health! (Or, at least, hazardous to one's back.)

Pretty Maggie and I are getting closer and closer to our Big Move. We've been buying stuff for the new place... tonight's purchase being an entertainment center we found on sale. Cheap, but very heavy. And very laborious in dragging to the second floor.

We have paints and brushes. We have artwork. (I gotta wooden sailboat!)

We're very excited.

Didn't work as much as I should have today. We shopped, napped, I played some Freelancer. Tomorrow will be a much busier day for me. More stuff to move to the new place. Layout work to do. Laundry. Groceries. Etc.

I've done a bit of writing, snuck in here in between things. Little snippets. Can't keep a good man down.

Today's link is appropo with the Amadeus piece I've been watching in bits and pieces: The Mozart Project. There's a good essay in there differentiating between the real-life Mozart and the version presented in the movie.

Enjoy!
