Here it be on Sunday night. Not a bad weekend overall. Getting over sickness in the household with some success. Some highlights of the weekend:

  • Finished a story that I'll be submitting to the dark elves anthology that's been poking around.
  • Got a good start on the Zeppelin anthology story and I expect to have that in well before the deadline.
  • Got some good edits done on the Whisp story which got such nice responses from Stan Schmidt (he niggled in a few places, which is why he didn't buy it.. but ooh! so close!)
  • Finished edits on a number of freelance projects. E-mailed about 10MBs worth of proofs tonight.
  • Finally saw Return of the King!!! Excellent movie! Better than the first two. Okay--so Peter Jackson decided not to film one of my favorite bits (the Razing of the Shire), but otherwise... three thumbs up! (I have a jar on my shelf with a thumb I found in a dumpster for just such situations.)

And I know some other fairly cool things happened--but I'm kinda tired right now and they aren't coming to me at this exact moment. Will need sleep before long.

Going to be a busy week! Stay tuned!
