I’m going through a bit DVD runover, i.e., the cup doth runneth over. Aside from trying to catch up on the Special Features section on a couple of Quentin Tarantino movies, I have 5 disks of Houshin Engi to go through, 200 minutes of LOTR: Return of the King which finally arrived, and 26 episodes of Fushigi Yuugi. That’s over 12 hours of viewing. And let’s not leave out a number of Gilmore Girl episodes (although Pretty Maggie and I do one per night during dinner), and because I’ve not been watching DVDs or playing Playstation this past week while trying to get Spike Jones out the door, I still have maybe 60 hours or Final Fantasy X gameplay ahead of me.

hehe... oh the cup doth burst.

But I doubt I’ll get more than a few hours of viewing time anytime soon. I have writing. I have freelance. Pretty Maggie _might_ watch Return of the King with me, but I doubt she’ll have much interest in my other recent acquisitions. And as I mentioned, I’m trying to get the first draft of Spike Jones out the door, and awaiting the proofs of the Bickersons Scripts book.

Oh, and I just got my setup files for a book of Twilight Zone scripts by Jerry Sohl.

We’re prepping at work for our big office move to the upstairs. I’m slowly becoming more accepting of this new plan. Granted, it’s still ill-planned and there are going to be all sorts of issues bound to arise when it comes to grabbing proofs, doing rush plates for waiting pressmen, and so forth, but on the plus side, I now have an abundance of new office furniture, a fairly quiet location, and a (albeit small) window next to my desk. La la la.

A potentially good site for SF fiction and nonfiction. Check out s1ngularity.net.

Cheers!
