You ever have that dream where you're back in high school, taking an exam you never studied for, buck naked, and then wolves jump through the windows and start chasing you down a hallway? You see a door at the end of the hall, but you can never, never make it, and as you run, you can feel yourself get smaller and smaller until the wolves (which are now motorcycles) rush past you and you get caught up in the breeze as they pass by and now you're flying. You keep going higher and higher and it's scary because you know the higher you go, the more you have to fall. And then bam! You're falling--but you think quick. You think quick and you spread your arms out and slow your descent, and then you figure out the trick to gliding.

Ever have that dream? Where you're flying through blue skies and looking down at a carnival, and the Big Top down below looks like a woman's breast, and it turns out to be your sister's which is really weird as you don't even have a sister. But there she is and now the two of you are walking through a zoo, but it's a real crappy zoo beause all they have are squirrels and dogs and such behind bars. She tells you it's going to get weird, but it'll be all right. You look at a squirrel thinking it might be a dog, and then she's gone and you're back to running and the wolves are back on your heels although they might be jaguars this time too.

Ever have that dream? Losing the jaguar-wolves is easy now because with a one-two-three you launch yourself into the air. You don't get as much altitude as you'd like, and it's a close call making it over that wall. You graze the very top ofthe wall and it feels soft, fleshy and moist and very unsettling. You land inside a department store where everyone looks like a mannequin except for one person who keeps dodging you.

And that's when it gets disturbing.

Ever have that dream?

Me neither. But would it be neat?

A decent amount of work today. Finishing up Lonnie Burr and the January 2009 issue of Medicine & Health-Rhode Island. I'll try to get a bit more housework done today as well. I'm back to making physical lists now of Things To Do and it's serving me well.

Was there a better show than Mystery Science Theater 3000? Well...maybe...but not many. The series was great. The movie was pretty dang good as well. I haveit on now. I've probably seen it thirty times or more, but it's a good 'un, and even after thirty viewings I still catch new little snippets of smarm.

So to share in the joy, today's link takes you to The Official Mystery Science Theater 3000 website. Daily riffs...merch...and more.

Enjoy!
