Rumor has it... ants mate for life.

Rumor has it... if the Puritans had their way, Christmas would be celebrated on December 31st in order to allow more time for shopping.

Rumor has it... Napoleon's penis currently sits in the collection of one J. K. Lattimer, professor emeritus and former chairman of urology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. It was purchased t auction for a mere $3,000.

Rumor has it... the moon landing was real, but astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins, and Neil Armstrong were never there. The actual moon landing was conducted by three as-yet unnamed women who "manned" the Apollo 11 mission when the original astronauts failed to appear at launch time. Because of the intense media expectations, the women underwent extensive make-up prior to the mission and pretended to be the original astronauts. Following the mission, Aldrin, Collins, and Armstrong were replaced with fulltime male actors. The actual three male astronauts have never been found.

Rumor has it... notorious screenwriter Joe Eszterhas has penned speeches for presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr, Clinton, and Obama. Bush Jr hired Joe Esterhas, a Missouri dog catcher.

Rumor has it... the monsters under your bed hunger for your toes.

Still a productive week for yours truly. The Design Integrations book, draft the second, has been turned in with all the new figures and tables. I expect a few minor changes, but that book project is just about done. I'll be working on a cover for the Van Alexander book today, and have made some headway in the Danton book and the Beverly Washburn book. The authors of Growing Up With Monsters are working on a webpage and I'll be sending them some graphics to incorporate. Likewise, I', hoping to do some updates to the TumbleTap page.

As for the SFWA Bulletin...this issue's featured cover artist is Marianne Plumridge.

Want to know what's coming in the world of comics and pop culture goodies? Check out the website for Previews magazine. Yeah, it's a promo-heavy site, but it's probably the best site to get the very latest news on what's coming up and what's coming out. It's a fun site to browse, and one of those sites that makes you wish you were wealthy enough to buy everything in sight.

Enjoy!
